SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

The workshop will be focused on utilization of imaging techniques for fisheries biology using the following approaches:

- populations imaging
- macroscopic imaging of single specimens
- microscopic imaging techniques and their utilization
- qualitative vs. quantitative measurements
- utilization for research and education

The workshop should provide a discussion forum for exchange of ideas, technical skills and know-how, calibration methods and approaches to standardize particular methodologies, especially for quantitative measurement techniques.

Oral presentations and posters will form the forum for information and dissemination during the workshop.
